Founded in 2014 by Maryam Raafat, Ishq is a handcrafted jewelry brand born from a lifelong passion that first took shape through collecting unique elements during her university years. That love for curation remains a driving force today, as she continuously sources authentic materials from around the world—including genuine Murano glass from Murano Island in Italy, African Murano from South Africa, and traditional Indian beads.

At its core, the brand is a celebration of fusion. It seamlessly blends these global treasures using diverse techniques such as copper wire wrapping with natural stones, delicate micro-macrame, copper piercing, and genuine leather crafting. This dynamic mix of mediums results in cheerful, vibrantly colored designs that perfectly reflect Maryam's free-spirited and improvisational approach to art.

Over the years, Maryam's dedication has naturally evolved from mastering these varied techniques to teaching them. Today, she is an experienced jewelry-making trainer who frequently collaborates with diverse creative studios to share her craft.
